Mauri Edo is an artist based in Alaior, Menorca. His practice moves between sound, image and radio. He builds pieces live from the signals that arrive (shortwave, mediumwave, UHF…) and treats listening itself as material.

His current work includes Sync, an installation for dual auto-scan radios that follows the moments when two receivers tuning the same sky briefly agree, and Radiogram, a regular practice of radio poetry: words stolen from past transmissions, laid over live mediumwave static.

He records and performs experimental music as Subespai, with recent performances in Barcelona, Bergen, London and Köln.

He studies cultural management at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya and occasionally organises cultural events around Menorca.
